Director of Sales, Medical Devices

Job Description:

Kai Medical is currently seeking a Director of Sales, Medical Devices to join the organization’s team at a very exciting time. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced candidate who has a passion for our mission and an unwavering commitment to operational excellence. The Director of Sales will know the ins and outs of the health care industry, ideally with experience and/or knowledge of respiratory devices, including sleep apnea therapy devices. You will seek potential customers while maintaining our current client base, backed by the full support of the Kai Medical team.

Responsibilities:
  • Present and sell company products to current and potential clients.li>
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Manage and coordinate responsibilities and duties of other sales representatives and distributors
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify sales prospects and specific targets.
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Prepare status reports reflecting sales activity, closings, and matrix of sales goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule (e.g., >40 hours) with some work during non-business hours
  • Willing to travel as needed (e.g., 25% of time)
  • Currently reside in Honolulu, Hawaii
Qualifications:
  • College Degree or higher in Public Health, Business, Marketing, and/or Communications
  • 7-10+ years of medical device industry experience, with recent experience selling medical devices. Ideally you’ve been on both sides of the buy and sell process.
  • Understanding the current state of the health care industry and a vision for where technology can be employed for quality improvement, efficiency, and consumer engagement
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex client processes, identify problem areas and suggest solutions effectively
  • Experience developing distributor channels and executing go-to market strategies.
  • International and domestic sales experience is a plus
  • Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
