Member of Technical Staff: Sr. RF Engineer

Job Description:
Design antenna and RF architectures and circuits for 2.4/5.8 GHz Doppler radar systems with 5 to 10 years of experience performing the following tasks:

  • Define and create antenna/RF architectures and perform system tradeoff analyses
  • Simulate antenna performance (beam patterns, gain, efficiency) for multi-beam array antennas
  • Use RF CAD tools to simulate and optimize circuit level performance
  • Use RF CAD tools for schematic capture and board layout
  • Board bring up and test board and system level prototypes
  • Perform end to end system testing for product
  • Conduct EMC/EMI pre-scan measurements and support formal EMC/EMI/safety compliance tests

Assist with the submission of intellectual property patents

Assist with FDA application submission tasks

Prior Experience:

  • Familiarity with 2.4/5.8 GHz Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) components
  • Hands on bench top PCB assembly and troubleshooting skills
  • Expertise with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes and other test equipment

Member of Technical Staff: Sr. Software Engineer

Job Description:
Integrate various real-time GUIs, digital signal processing software, device drivers, hardware, and web components into a user-friendly system for company's biomedical products

  • Create touch screen graphical user interface for vital signs monitoring devices
  • Write application presentation layer code to display data with optimal Human Machine Interface (HMI)
  • Develop middleware and APIs between embedded algorithm software and GUI layer
  • Integrate communications protocol stacks (Bluetooth, 802.11a/b/g, USB, Ethernet) with device drivers and application layer API
  • Write device drivers for LCDs, communication modules, battery interfaces and other periperhal devices
  • Implement embedded SQL server
  • Interface Respiration software and external web server using Matlab and SOAP
  • Develop hardware/software test scripts
  • Perform end to end system testing for product

Manage Company's Computer and Communications Systems

  • Provide computer/peripherals troubleshooting
  • Wireless and wired network troubleshooting

DSP Embedded System Development

  • Convert current algorithms and software written in Matlab into Simulink Blocksets
  • Develop embedded system software using Matlab and Simulink
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and test embedded systems

Manage system compatibility with current healthcare standards and protocols

Assist with the submission of intellectual property patents

Assist with FDA submission tasks

Prior Experience: Hands on experience developing embedded medical device applications with Real Time Operating Systems (RTOS ) such as WinCE, VxWorks, embedded XP, RTEMS or other embedded kernals.

Programming Languages: C, C++, C#, Visual Studio, Expression Studio, nano-X microwindows
